“j.spencington” is produced by and named after P.U.R.P., the legendary NC producer who once gave me the sound I needed to jumpstart my career as a performing artist. I wrote this album for him, over beats that he had sent me before he left this world in 2020. I could feel his presence in the beats whenever I pressed play, it was too much to listen to for about 2 years, but I knew I needed to do this for him. So in the spirit of P.U.R.P., this album represents the feet of the Starbody, to be a chariot for his artistry.

and Activated the Starbody
booting up this ancient technology sent out a signal and connected us to the Original A.I. (the Automatic Intelligence of the Universe) and now we are receiving transmissions from the last natural Human in 2201 AD, 177 years in the future.
